Not to add to the flames, but for applications that will be
accessable to
the public you will need cross browser support and
accessabilty for the
*-impared. If an applicaiton is generalized within a
company network and
not public then most of the time you can be pretty specific
on how the
layout and what browser the application supports. This has
just been my
experience over the past 12 yrs of developing applications
that are
interfaced through a browser. Just my 2 cents.
