You don’t want the odbc one, you want the .net one:

 

http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/net/1.0.html

 

Just use the classes in exactly the same way as you use the equivalent SQL Server classes – including installing them in the Visual Studio Toolbox, if you want.

I need connect to MySQL database, how can I do???

 

I’m using Visual Studio 2005, and intalled “mysql-connector-odbc-5.0.0-alpha-win32.msi”, but this not work (in Server Explorer-Data Connections not show me the tables).

 

Please help me.

 

PD: My english is awful (I’m sorry).
