PopUp windows..when page is loaded in asp.net

can anybody tell me, how i'm going to popup a window..
when my asp.net page is loaded.
as it happens in general website like rediff.com

means java script should i used ..?

as i tried lot to search but i didnt got perfect solution
for this
so pls.. help me regarding this..
