Job Summary:	Job Description: Serves as one of the IT Risk Office';s two Network Enterprise Architects, providing subject matter expertise on security issues within the networking arena (routers, switches, firewalls and other network related devices). This individual will: 1. Assist in monitoring alerts for network device vulnerability/patch issues (currently includes Cisco and Check Point products), and prepare enterprise security patch notices when applicable. 2. Assist in maintaining the corporate network device security standards, providing input when security-related events require setting changes. 3. Assist in running enterprise-wide security compliance scans, measuring compliance to the corporate network device security standards. 4. Assist in maintaining the enterprise-wide network-device security compliance scanner and process for measuring compliance of corporate network devices. 5. Assist in running enterprise-wide network-device security vulnerability scans, measuring compliance to the corporate network device security standards. Job Qualifications: 1. Router and switch administration experience, with experience concentrated on Cisco devices. 2. Firewall application administration experience, with experience concentrated on Check Point and Pix devices. 3. Firewall platform administration experience, with experience concentrated on Nokia, Crossbeam, and Secure Platform devices. 4. Experience with Perl programming language. 5. Experience with Unix operating systems (Red Hat Linux & Solaris) 6. MySQL experience a plus.
Comments:	Due to the December holidays, we will take and review all submitted resumes as they are received and provide feedback to the suppliers. However, phone screens and interviews of those with qualified resumes will not begin until January 8. Due to the high teaming and interpersonal skills required of the position, all finalists will receive an in-person interview. Our goal is to have a person in place not later than the end of January.
