Title: Application Testing Lead

Location: FAIRFAX, VA

Rate: $ 42 per hour w2

Duration: 6

Basic Qualifications:
2+ yrs as Testing Lead
4+ yrs in quality process and testing software (test plans, requirements tracking, config mgt)
1 yr payroll testing, labor collection and/or general accounting
2 yrs configuration management principles

 

Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:

Person must be able to work closely with Project Manager and client management team to develop a testing strategy for the project. Person will be responsible for interpreting system requirements and design specifications in order to build test plans. Person must be able to work with technical teams to resolve issues. Person will be responsible for staffing a test team with the approval of the project manager. Person should be knowledgeable in payroll testing, labor collection in project accounting financial systems, and general accounting policies. Person should be knowledgeable in Oracle applications and / or Costpoint applications. Person will be responsible for directing a team constructing test plans and testing documents for multiple rounds of testing. Person will be responsible for setup and management of integration and customer acceptance test events where key business users and technical teams are brought together to test system requirements. Person will also be responsible for all testing documentation during these events. Person will be required to use configuration management software to track issues found during testing events. Person must be able to travel to client locations as needed.
