Job Description:

We are looking for Network Engineers / Specialists who share our value of
Customer First to join our Technical Operations Team at our rapidly growing
 Center in  San Jose, CA. 

Our customers are located throughout North America with offices worldwide.
As a Network Engineer / Specialist, you would be working in multiple
customer environments representing almost every business segment, including
pharmaceutical, architectural, healthcare, manufacturing, non-profit,
financial, and professional services firms, to name a few.

Responsibilities:

 ;   * Administer and manage Cisco hardware / software to support production
clients
    * Provide network design and configure and install
routers/switches/firewall/VPN concentrators.
    * Develop, test and update processes and procedures
    * Work effectively with cross-functional teams to define technical
requirements, identify/resolve technical issues.

Minimum Requirements:

   ; * 5 years of demonstrated networking experience in a large-scale
environment
   ; * Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information
Technology, or equivalent experience required.
  ;  * Strong technical leadership skills with a solid knowledge and
experience in Cisco switches and routers
    * Experienced in network design, operational support, hands-on
implementation and configuration of network infrastructure
   ; * Strong knowledge and experience in VPN, Firewall, load-balancing,
network security, and network management platforms.
    * Experience in configuring and installing technologies such as switched
Ethernet/Fast Ethernet/Gigabit Ethernet and various routing (static,
ripv1/v2, EIGRP, and basic BGP)
 ;   * Current CCNP, CNA, or equivalent knowledge desired.

    * Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and directed fashion,
and lead teams in such situations as needed
    * Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    * Must posses an exceptional problem solving, critical thinking and
analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve project issues and challenges
    * Strong attention to detail and deadline orientation
    * Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
    * Must be accustomed and adept at working on various issues
simultaneously, ensuring the integrity of each project.
 
Comments for the recruiter:

Equipment experience with Cisco, Sonic Wall, HP Pro Curve Juniper Networks &
Nortel.  Must have VPN experience, GRE or IP Sec Tunnels.  Must have a
fairly diverse background.  Network Engineers who are internal lan supports
guys will not work.
