The ERP Team is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill a temporary need for a senior SAP Consultant in the area of SAP
HCM- Time Management. Three years ago the County embarked on the replacement of both legacy Financials, and HR/Payroll systems. The County selected SAP version ECC 5.0. In November of 2005, the County went live with SAP Financials and is currently approaching SAP HCM Go-live (scheduled to Go-live Spring of 2008). This SAP Consultant will support the Final Prep, Go-Live, and Post Go-Live phases for a Tier 1 SAP HCM Implementation. Upon Go-live, the SAP HCM implementation will support an employee base of 17,000 employees. The existing SAP production environment is comprised of the following financial modules: AR, AP, CO, FA, FM, FI, GM, MM, MAM, IO, WO, PS, and WF. At Go-live, the HCM components will be added to the existing Production environment. The candidate must have a well-rounded background in SAP Time Management including configuration, schema design and maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and an understanding of interface design. Additionally, the candidate must have strong communication skills (verbal and written), the ability to document business requirements and process flows, develop design documentation, develop training materials and/or coordinate training sessions, assess reporting needs and/or create reports, as well as, the ability to communicate and work well with others. The expectation is that this senior SAP Consultant will participate in the identification and analysis of application and process defects. Additionally, this candidate will be expected to mentor and train HCM County Staff.
