Job Description: MUST Have TIME related REVENUE RECOGNITION experience!!!!! (Minimum
2 projects or 2years)
Skills Required: Subject Matter Expert in SAP Revenue Recognition Configuration
and Design (min. 1 implementation in this capacity) - Ability to develop
project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established
project standards - Experience in software industry (optional)
Responsibilities
-Strong knowledge of Revenue Plan configuration and understanding of product
time-based revenue recognition.
- Bring Revenue Recognition experience from other clients and establish self as
Revenue Recognition SME.
- Review release requirements for new Revenue Recognition strategy and provide
best practice design options.
- Complete Functional Designs, Configuration Rationales related to release.
- Assist with root cause analysis for Production issues related to Revenue
Recognition
- Coordinate cross-team meeting with MTB (Finance) team for any design
recommendations/resolutions.
Required Skills:
- SME in SAP SD Revenue Recognition Configuration and
Design (min. of 2 implementations in this capacity)
- Specific experience with 'Time based' or 'Time based with billing9; Rev Rec
options
- Previously worked with a mix of product & services SKUs on sales
contracts with regards to Revenu! e Plans
- Experience with interactions of billing and Revenue Recognition
- Knowledge on the intricacies of superseding contracts and its effects on Rev
Rec functionality.
- Deep understanding of SAP supported functionality vs. customization
capabilities in designing solution
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas
- Strong leadership and client-facing skills
- Ability to develop project deliverables for completeness, quality, and
compliance with established project standards
- Experience in PS integration with SD and understanding of results analysis a
plus.
