Title: Sr. QA Tester

Location: : Portland, OR
Length: 6 month Contract/Option to Hire

Rate:$40/hr

MUST HAVES:

5 Years in Quality Assurance and Software Testing roles, with emphasis on application performance testing
Firm understanding of software-testing methodology, quality assurance and SDLC
Excellent documentation and verbal presentation skills
5 Years of experience with Mercury LoadRunner and 1 year of experience with Mercury Performance Center.
1 year of experience using Mercury Virtual User Generator (VuGen), specifically with the Citrix protocol.
Ability to analyze the usage of live systems to formulate accurate performance-testing models
Ability to construct performance-test scripts and scenarios from existing business scenarios.
Strong Windows operating-system background, with understanding of the key drivers and influences on performance (CPU, Memory, IO, etc)
Experience with Mercury TestDirector for Quality Center

ADDITIONAL BACKGROUND:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Insurance industry experience a plus
Solid self-starter with excellent team skills
