Sr. Software Designer, Optimization

to as a
Software Architect) that will be a senior member of our
primary team to
develop AdLearn, our cutting-edge advertising optimization
and
scheduling software.

In this role the designer will lead one or more teams in
mission-critical software design and implementation efforts.
You will
work with the Optimization Principal Engineer to interface
with
business stakeholders, create software specifications from
business
requirements, and subsequently lead a team (or teams) in the
software
design and implementation effort. Additionally, the Designer
will help
guide policies, practices, and the overall technology path
in providing
the highest quality enterprise software solutions. You must
be able to
apply an understanding of AdLearn's mathematical concepts
and
implementation to support our company's business goals.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of leading
teams and
deploying successful software projects. You will also be:
· Strongly process-oriented (understands and follows a
rigorous
software delivery methodology) with a thorough understanding
of system
development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
· Understand software architecture and objected oriented
design
concepts with excellent coding skills.
· Be well versed in objected oriented design (OOD/OOP) and
the
software design lifecycle (SDLC), AND have outstanding
coding and
communication skills.
Additional Skills and Experience:
· Proven team leader on software development projects with
excellent
communication skills.
· Distinguished experience in C++ and/or C# programming.
· Knowledge and experience with SQL and software interaction
with
large databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server).
· Ability to coach, mentor and train software developers in
a
technical organization.
· Experience in developing and executing a software
implementation
plan.
· Plus: Experience in the design and implementation of
scientific/computational software.
· Plus: Experience on projects handling large volumes of
data
(typically Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server).
· Plus: Strong mathematics background.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software
Engineering or a
related field.
