Is cvs rename exposed in WinCvs?

We have finally come to a situation when the rename function
will be
handy.
So we tried to see if the cvs rename could be used but it
looks a bit
strange...
Maybe we are not using it correctly?

So my question is now if there is an exposure of CVS rename
in WinCvs
that can be used instead of going to the command line and
experimenting?

I did one experiment by renaming an old file in a test repo
like this:

cvs rename Install.txt InstallNow.txt
cvs commit -m "Rename test"

This renamed the file OK in the sandbox. The RCS file still
retains its
old name.
In fact the RCS file is not changed at all! Not even the new
revision is
stored into it...

When I do cvs log on the file it is not visible that the
file has
changed its name...
If I do a cvs checkout of the module the file comes out with
the new
name but with revision 1.1 even though the commit indicated
that the new
file revision is 1.2
And if I do a cvs co -D 2006-05-01 module I get the file
with the new
name even though it has been renamed well after that
date....

So I guess I am doing a lot wrong and it means that having a
working
wrapper in WinCvs would help.
Is there such?

Best regards,

Bo Berglund
