Hi,
for some reason I every now and then I have a file which I
can't commit.
this occurs only on some files
see the log message below.
cvs commit -m "no message" InitData_Admin.c (in
directory
C:\CVS_Sandbox_DSP\Applications\BasicApplication\InitDat
a\)
RCS file:
/cvs/module_sw/ModuleSW/Applications/BasicApplication/InitDa
ta/InitData_Admi
n.c,v
done
cvs commit: ERROR: cannot read file InitData_Admin.c:
Permission denied
***** CVS exited normally with code 1 *****
The problem occurs only on newer Windows XP machines with
NTFS.
It occurs with all newer clients (2.x). When checking the
windows access
rights everything seams fine.
And the file is accessible with any other windows tool, can
be moved around
or copied.
did somebody else have a similar problem? Does anybody know
a solution?
To change the file names is not acceptable!
Michael
