I searched for this in the archives, did not see it.
I had WinCVS 2.0.2.4 running fine on a laptop.
I just installed it on a second laptop.
When I login via the GUI on the new laptop (Admin > Login), it adds
quotes around my CVSROOT value, like this:
cvs -d "<my_cvsroot_value> " login
This causes a "no such repository" error.
If I use the command line on my new laptop, I can log in fine if I
omit the quotes. On my old laptop, the same menu pick does not add
the quotes and I can log in fine.
I cannot figure out where the quotes are coming from or how to stop
WinCVS from adding them when logging in via the GUI. The quotes are
not in the CVSROOT field I'm entering in the login form.
Thanks for any ideas,
John
