Hello there,

I'm using WinCvs2.0.2.4(build 4) version. It used to work really well a
few months ago. But I can't login to the server any more now. Below is the
connection string and error message I got:

cvs -d ":pserver;username=ppm;hostname=devibm1.hdc.bio-rad.com;port=
:/users/ppm/CVSROOT" login
Logging in to :pserver: ppm%40devibm1.hdc.bio-rad.com">ppmdevibm1.hdc.bio-rad.com:2401:/users/ppm/CVSROOT
cvs [login aborted]: connect to devibm1.hdc.bio-rad.com:2401 failed: No
connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

Not sure what it didn't work any more. My colleage has no problem to
access the server.

My laptop may have some upgrades (automatically) during the last several
months. But none of them should have anything to do with CVS. Another
interesting thing, I found my Python version was old (initially I thought
this may cause the problem), then I downloaded the new version (2.5.1) and
removed the old one. Now it looks like WinCvs could not find this new
version of Python. I don't know what setting I should change in order for
WinCvs to find the latest version of Python.

Thanks very much for any helps!

Sining Wang
