If they use WinCvs as a client then it is really helpful...
It will substitute the empty comment entry with the string
"no
comment" or some such and now your server side script
will think that
the user actually entered a comment even though he did not.
At the very least you should check what WinCvs sends in this
case and
trap that in addition to an empty string...
