I have a spectacular problem of svnserve crashing the whole
Windows system. The
problem starts when svnserve is used as destination for
svnsync process. The
svnsync runs on another machine so has no direct impact on
host (destination)
system stability.
The problem is repeatable. During svnsync, svnserve commits
some new revisions
onto target machine and suddently the system crashes with
blue screen. The
backtrace from minidumps shows, that the kernel driver for
windows filesystem
(ntfs.sys) causes "Attempt to read from address
ffffffffffffffff".
Unfortunatelly the operation that caused the problem has
been triggered from
the svnserve.exe process.
<once I have more details, I'll provide them>
