svn client crashed when importing from CD drive

I uninstalled Subversion 1.4 and then installed Subversion
1.3.2 to try this
operation. Using the Subversion 1.3.2 I created a new
repository and then did
the exact same svn import directly from the same Windows
2000 Professional CD
into the new repository, using the same hardware (Dell
OptiPlex GX110 w/PIII
933MHz, 256MB RAM, Lite-On CD-RW 32x12x40x). This time the
operation was a success!
