Issue #2822 has an edge case where simple working copy
detachment doesn't work.

Another one (which I couldn't find an issue for) is an
add-with-history 
directory: Because in this case the subtree of the added
directory has a 
schedule normal, but a state 'copied', you can't just copy a
subtree of the 
added dir and expect it to work without its parent.
