looking to hire a Software Designer that will be a senior
member of our
primary team to develop AdLearn, our cutting-edge
advertising
optimization and scheduling software.
In this role you will work with the Optimization Principal
Engineer to
interface with business stakeholders, create software
specifications
from business requirements, and subsequently lead a team (or
teams) in
the software design and implementation effort. Additionally,
you must
be able to apply an understanding of AdLearn's mathematical
concepts
and implementation to support our company's business goals.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of leading
teams and
deploying successful software projects. The candidate will
not only be
well versed in objected oriented design (OOD/OOP) and the
software
design lifecycle (SDLC), but will also have outstanding
coding and
communication skills. The Designer will help guide
policies,
practices, and the overall technology path in providing the
highest
quality enterprise software solutions.
Skills and Experience:
· 8+ years of experience in software design /
implementation.
· Distinguished experience in C# or C++ programming with a
thorough
understanding of OOA / OOD principles.
· Knowledge and experience with SQL and software interaction
with
large databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server).
· Strong team leadership skills, to include resource
allocation and
planning skills, with software development projects.
· Ability to coach, mentor and train software developers in
a
technical organization.
· Experience in developing and executing a software
implementation
plan.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software
Engineering or a
related field.
