I just want to get you guys and gals’; professional
opinion on the various data access methods. First, do you recommend
DataReaders over DataSets? I know the latter uses the former.
Second, do you recommend using the GUI binding tools or processing the controls
manually and then executing SQL statements?
Scenario:
I am running multiple MySQL
databases on Windows 2003 servers, and Progress OpenEdge 10 databases on
Unixware 7.x servers. All of my clients are running XP pro or 2000 pro.
