C-Sharp (C#) Group: socket servers timeout

Hi,
Im not an expert programmer, but ive managed to create a
client and
server that connect using system sockets, but i just wanted
to no how
can i implement a time out facility so that the connection
drops as
soon as the time expires? ive been looking all over but with
no
success.
