So yesterday I got some spam in my email account. The
headline was
something about BMG. If you are in your thirties you are
sure to
remember BMG. I hadn't thought about BMG since my college
days so I
though hey what the heck, let's take a look and see how many
CD's I
can get for a penny. Much it my surprise and quite frankly
confusion
the email contained nothing about BMG or even CD's. It was
one of
those stupid penny stock emails where the information they
want to you
read is hidden in a picture. So I deleted the email and
went about my
business. But that got me to thinking. What if I had a
website for
my son I emailed it to everyone I could think of. And what
if
everyone that received that email visited the site performed
one
search for something they were looking for and clicked on
one link. I
wonder what would happen if they then sent that email to two
or three
of their friends. I started to wonder how long it would
take to pay
for my son's college. So here's the deal. I created a
site.
http://www.oscarjamesw
hite.com
Now I wondering if I were to receive an email like this
would I take
the 10 seconds to visit the site search for something I'm
interested
in and click a link.
