    Location:    Portland, OR

    Duration:    6+ Months

    Rate:        ;   $45/hr

-     Strong Java fundamentals

-     J2EE specifically Spring, Hibernate, Struts

-     Good communications skills

-     Resume driven interview (Explain project, your role, use of technology etc)

-     Good technical design/develop practices (code reviews, coding standards)

-     Candidates asked to review code during interview.

2) Position:  UNIX Configuration/Build Engineer

    Duration:    2 yrs

    Location:    Portland, OR

    Rate:        ;   $45/ph

Pl. send qualified candidates with excellent communication skills for this requirement…local candidates preferred.

The client will interview this week for a Monday start.

  

Required Skills:

• Key skills are ANT, Unix and Clearcase
• Builds application on team build environment using automated build tool.
• Deploys application to UNIX Dev environment
• Executes post deploy processes on the Dev environment
• Develops the deploy and post deploy instruction documents
• Creates patches to apply to the Dev environment using the automated patch process
• Delivers deploy and post deploy instructions to the consolidated deploy, post deploy instruction set
• Some Clearcase maintenance
• Rebase and deliver to and from the application stream to the integration stream
• Proficiency with the Apache Ant java-based build tool (http://ant.apache.org/)
• Basic Unix skills to include use of vi, tar, chmod, dos2unix, su, setenv, ls, shell scripts, etc.)
• ClearCase skills to include make baseline, recommend baselines, rebase, deliver, management of non-trivial merge, UCM views, streams and projects)
