Hi Aaron,
I suppose you have two MySQL installs: one from RPM packages
and one from sources (in /usr/local).
Because of the order in which libraries are loaded
(directory order) Campsite (PHP) may try to use
the standard libs first: /usr/lib instead of /usr/local/lib.
If the two MySQL installs have
different versions then the connection will fail.
The solution is to uninstall the standard MySQL RPM packages
if you don't use them and leave only
the install from sources.
Regards,
Mugur
