Hi,

This was sent by mistake to the Campcaster support list. I'm sending it here in hopes that someone can help Damien. -- doug

Hello,

I have installed Campsite and have been looking at how I can set it up to
support multiple levels of membership.  For example, Gold, Silver and
Bronze.  All getting different access to the articles on the system.  How
can I achieve this as all I have been able to configure is one level of
subscription at this time.

I would really appreciate you assistance as I like Campsite and would not
want to look at another CMS.

Regards
Damien

Hi,
there is no such a thing in subscription module. Campsite only cares about subscription if it is active or not to realize, if it should provide the content or not. And even this feature is done through templates, where subscription is only a flag and you need to decide, what content is only for subscribers.

Subscription is section based, so the only way to define any metal kinds of subscriptions is to create your own scenario, deciding which section belongs to which level. Than create template, that creates subscription automatically depending to your definition, or use cream to do that.

If you would like to do that inside campsite admin interface, you would have to add sections to subscribers manually, which during the time is very unplesant and there is a high chance to make mistake.
