"In your previous emails you said that your customer is
now at r55 hfa20
and the mssp will migrate this cma to r65 hfa01. this means
you won't
have to do the migration yourself."

MSSP will do the migration from R55 hfa20 to R65 hfa01 BUT
I have to
do a proof of concept that it will work. MSSP also
manages customer
R55 hfa20 as well. I asked mssp to provide me with
$FWDIR/conf,database
and $CPDIR/conf,database so that I can do test it in my
own lab and make
sure that it works. As it turned out, it didn't work for
me.

In other words, the same mssp will be managing customer
CMA in
NGx R65 hfa-01 as well. What I am doing here is to make
sure that
the migration from r55 hfa-20 to r65 hfa01 works as the
mssp claimed
for the customer cma. there have been issues with this
mssp in the
past. That's why the customer brought me in to test
this.

Does that make sense to you?

In your previous emails you said thet your customer is now
at r55 hfa20
and the mssp will migrate this cma to r65 hfa01. this means
you won't
have to do the migration yourself.

since the mssp will do the migration to r65 hfa01, when
you'll import
the configuration in your own cma you'll also be at r65
hfa01, therefore
you'll be migrating to the same version.

I really don't see your poblem here, as it's just mostly a
copy
operation from one p-1 instance to another (as i understood
from your
emails).

Does now. But in the end, the mssp will be liable if the
migration does
not go according to plan.
