Hi,

I'd like to know if someone has already experienced
performance issues
with such disk controller (driver mptsas version 3.04.02)
on SPLAT 2.6.

I'm getting kernel panic under heavy logging conditions at
the fw-1
gateway. I believe this is related with logging because the
problem
doesn't occur if I disable some of the log tracking at the
rulebase.

Heavy logging could cause some delay/throttling but never a
kernel
panic...

What kind of hw is this? Do you get the same issue on SPLAT
2.4? 2.6 still seems a bit new in the Check Point context.
