Hi fellas!

It seems that there will be a couple of fancy new
features for this
   release:

     - In first place, SCGI support. It brings us Ruby on
Rails and
       Python at full speed.

     - And last, but not least, I'd like to announce that
the FastCGI
       handler is finally working!

======
Server Software: Cherokee/0.4.31b7
Server Hostname: localhost
Server Port: 80

Document Path: /test2.php
Document Length: 11 bytes

Concurrency Level: 50
Time taken for tests: 4.629207 seconds
Complete requests: 10000
Failed requests: 0
Write errors: 0
Total transferred: 1744698 bytes
HTML transferred: 110297 bytes
Requests per second: 2160.20 [#/sec] (mean)
Time per request: 23.146 [ms] (mean)
Time per request: 0.463 [ms] (mean, across all
concurrent requests)
Transfer rate: 367.88 [Kbytes/sec] received
======

What do you want me to say after this? 10,000 PHP
requests (50 at
the same time), without one only failure, at 2100
requests per
    second. It is sooo sweet!

I have still some clean up to do; I over-engineered a
few classes
and now I gotta take them back to its previous state.
I'll try to
commit all this stuff by tomorrow evening (GTM).

    Have fun!! )

where can I find out just how much I need to do to convert
my
cgi-that-makes-alvaro's-life-heck to use scgi (and not lose
memory at
the same time)

Cherokee just has a brilliant future if it pushes in the
right direction
as it's doing now.. without loosing the speed.

Antonio.

   Good stuff!! Thanks Mohammad

BTW, yesterday I found a problem in the FastCGI support,
I'm trying
to trace it back. Have you had some problem with the
handler?
