If I were you I would try to recompile Cherokee adding
a PRINT_ERROR("...") near all conn->error_code
= http_internal_error
and near: printf("Status: 500" CRLF_CRLF); in
handler_cgi*.c.
If no error message is written to standard error
then the problem is elsewhere (i.e. connection.c, thread.c,
handler_redir.c).
The output of "netstat -a" would be helpful too.
