Legacy CGI programs with Cherrypy

I'm well aware that this might not be the smartest way to
go about
this, but here goes anyway... I got a few cgi-programs that
I need to
run as part of my cherrypy application. I would like to call
those
cgi-programs from cherrypy without them suspecting anything
unusual.
Also I need to return the results, although I don't need to
handle them
in my application.

So how to wrap cherrypy around old cgi-programs without
having to use
Apache?
