SessionDeadlockError - need to lock ? - when/best way ?

Hmm, this isn't what it appeared (to me) to be !

I discovered that I had previously launched the CP server as
root and
then subsequently stopped and restarted it as another user.
The session
info was held in files and these had become owned by root
and so (I
think) this was causing the somewhat misleading error
message.

Having said that I did a chmod 777 on the sessions directory
as an
experiement and still I got the SessionDeadlockError - it
was only when
I restarted the session (as the non-root user but after the
chmod's)
that things returned to normal.

Obviously I'm not suggesting chmodding 777 is a the way to
go I was
just trying to determine the source of the problem.

So in summary I don't think it's a problem in the real
world although I
suppose the error message is a bit confusing ...
