problem shutting down CP3 wsgiserver

Hi,

I am currently doing my first steps using CP3. Even though
it has not
much to do with CP is noticed that a
wsgiserver.CherryPyWSGIServer
cannot be stopped by a simple CTRL-C in a shell on my Linux
box. When I
finally got it killed it does not release the tcp port.

Is there any clean and recommended way to shut it down?
