Not exactly... in this particular case, I'm pretty sure
that the name
is a Monty Python reference and not some strange sort of
naming
coincidence.

Well, it's one of those things that non-English speakers
don't normally
get
exposed to.  I wouldn't have understood the reference if I
hadn't been
introduced
to Monty Python by a friend.

You are exactly correct.  And it appears, from the wording
of your
sentence,
that you got it right without even looking at the Crunchy
Frog
tutorial.

The reference is all Monty Python related, and it has
nothing to do
with
the fact that my mother tongue is French!
