Google on "tomcat jetty performance" and you'll get several worthwhile hits
with data on the first two pages.
Probably the most important lesson overall is configure for performance
rather than using the out of the box setup.

This question was asked of me today - why are we using Tomcat? It
doesn't handle user loads well! Why aren't we using JRun?
Is this true? We are currently running our enterprise wide content
management system on Tomcat - is this something that you wouldn't
advise? The application is JSP with an Oracle database.
Any thoughts?
