SUMMARY:
In this presentation Brian will cover the various
technologies available for the Java platform for
building SOA systems. These include Jini and
JavaSpaces, WebServices and Enterprise Service Bus. In
addition, he will cover how services change over time
and how these systems can be developed to allow
upgrades to be seamless and allow multiple versions of
services to co-exist.
SPEAKER BIO:
Brian Pontarelli is a software architect at Orbitz.
He is most interested in solving the tough software
problems like distribution, versioning, dependencies,
deployment, configuration, runtime management,
configuration migration, and application migration. In
his spare time, he has been trying to find a better
way to build web applications (www.inversoft.com).
