Open EXR won't open

Hi all!

When trying to open any of the images from http://www.openexr.org I
always
get an "Open Failed: Filename.exr" error.

Did this come with version 0.20-1? How can I fix this myself
as a
non-programmer (I just do a little Cocoa so go easy on me
pls)?

Great app so far, I'm really pleased the crash-rate is
still 2% higher than
Photoshop, but if I avoid the buggy widgets it works like a
charm.

Buggy Widget:
   + The 3 wheel color correction always crashes the app
when clicking apply
     or Cancel
    
There were 2 other sure crashers which I don't recall right
now, but I'm
sure they've already been reported.

And last: Can I get a half-baked 0.20-3 release on the Mac
somehow and will
that work on the new Intel Macs?

OK that was a mouthful.
