cinepaint script-fu batch?

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to develop cinepaint.  ; This is a repeat of something posted to cinepaint users...

So the story goes is i'm looking for a way to automate the deployment of my HDR images, after saving out some tiff's from HDRshop in the cross format I want to chop them up for reassembly as environment maps.

Thankfully cinepaint is one of the only packages out there that can even open these things.

However, I'd like to automate this process using script-fu.  I tried running cinepaint with the '-b' option but it doesn't seem to obey even the simplest requests.  I got the info on how to do stuff like this from http://gimp.org/tutorials/Basic_Batch/ .

For example, `cinepaint -b '(gimp-quit 0)'` should basically open and close the package, and as you guessed I get zilch.  I'm wondering if this can be fixed by compiling some special version from cvs (basically script-fu support) or if it's even possible anymore.  If it's not longer possible, it would be worth consideration of implementing.  Also is glasgow going to support a batch mode, via script-fu or some thing more shake-ish?

thanks and keep-on-trucking.

Beside that CinePaint comes with a HDR creation plug-in
introduced in 0.20
there is, as far as I can tell, no scripting support
available. At least
not working out of the box.
