Andy,

Thanks for writing. Sorry you've had trouble. I don't know
how you could
have caused it, but it's the first I've heard of a
problem. I haven't
touched CinePaint on the Mac in a while. I'm forwarding to
the list so
someone who works on the Mac installer can answer.

As the creator of the later osX packages, I'll have to look
at it.

CinePaint on Mac deletes /opt

Andy,

my tests on a 10.3 G4 system showed no issues with files
remaining in the
/opt path. I installed deinstalled across CinePaint versions
from 0.18
till 0.20-3(rc).

One thing, which became obvious was the rmdir command. It is
used by the
system to remove the old package paths. CinePaint resides
for the osX
packages in /opt and /Applications. It may be that those
paths can be
affected if your rmdir is not save.

Can you give more information about your system: version /
architecture?
Are you working as admin? Could you open a terminal and send
us the output
of the 'set' command?

Kai-Uwe Behrmann

To tell it precissely: MacCinePaint did not remove other
files than own
ones.

Splat save/load functions now ok
user name
2006-03-05 20:08:43
Hello,

I've reworked all the save and load dialogs so that they
use
Fl_File_Chooser. It's now done and clean, but I have no
write access to CVS
(splat project), so I'm waiting for directives.

Thanks,
Elisée
