Summary: Gtk2 Drawing path broken

Hi,
with the current cvs version: I get unexpected
"path" when using any tool that is supposed to
"draw" lines/curves (e.g. pencil, fuzzy brush,
hand-drawn selection tool).
See attached file cp_drawing.png. To reproduce:
1. Select a tool (e.g. pencil). It must be a new tool, so
previously e.g. fuzzy brush or whatever else was active.
2. While moving mouse cursor over the image, press the left
button. An unexpected triangle appears. In my testing, the
triangle always heads to the right side of image, no matter
which way I draw.
On the attached image, I was moving from the top downwards.
Visually, the cursor quickly jumps to the right border of
the image and returns back to continue my stroke.
This behaviour does happen only with a newly selected tool
and for the first stroke (moving cursor before pressing
button).
It does not happen in non-gtk2 CinePaint.
Workaround: select a new tool, stop mouse movement,
left-click, start to draw.
