Anyone successfully configure an IMAP integration with Unity 4.2 and GroupWise client 6.5.4?

We are able to retrieve messages but if the user deletes a message using the phone the client doesn̵7;t seem to get updated.

If I configure the IMAP connection using Outlook or Outlook Express I can’t reproduce the problem.

I'm not familiar with the Groupwise client, but when I use IMAP to access a regular mailstore from Outlook, I have to press the "Purge Deleted Messages" command to actually execute the delete.  "Deleting" the message with IMAP only marks the message for deletion.

Maybe there's something similar in Groupwise?

There is something similar in GroupWise.  My issue is that the message never leaves the “Inbox” and displays as a new (unread) message.  Of course, if I’ve already deleted the message via the phone the message showing in the Inbox doesn̵7;t open which makes sense since it’s been deleted.

If I use Outlook, Outlook Express or Mozilla Thunderbird it works as expected.  My customer is a Novell shop and really wants this working with GroupWise.  At this point I’m going to contact Novell and see what happens.

Thanks,

Scott
