Thread: CME Call-forward question

CME Call-forward question
country flaguser name
United States

The scenario:

CME 3.3

x1000 is CFA to x1001. I want the caller who called x1000 to get the voicemail box of x1001 if x1001 doesn̵7;t answer.

Is this possible? I know in call manager you would need to create a unique VM profile to accomplish this.

Thanks,

Jeff

What voice mail system? unity? cue?

In unity you can configure the alternate extension to contain 1001 in it.

You can also translate the calling number using voice translation rules on the cme.
