| Without knowing the specific requirements of such a system, if all
you need to do is handle inbound phone calls and record a message based on the
user then this would be a very straight forward application to build with the
Cisco Unified Application Environment. Answering an incoming call, gathering a
PIN for authorization (if required), and recording the audio should take all of
about 10 minutes to wire together.

I just had the exact same question today asked to us.. user's weren't
happy with the price tag an outside vendor had provided. I offered to set them
up a voicemail box specifically for the VIP to record his dictations to, but
that didn't fly. Was the only thing I could think of on the voip system.

It's also very similar to the prompt recording script in CRA.
