The ESs for 5.0(1) are cumulative, so any ES after the first
ES this was
fixed in, ES30, should have the fix. As for what it fixes,
it reduces
the delay from around 6 seconds to 2-3. There is no other
patch
available at this time.
It is interesting that you say some users claim to have the
problem and
other don't. Maybe the 2-3 seconds is right on the line of
what people
notice? As I understand it is a universal problem, impacting
all users
that are enabled for message monitor in the same way.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Unity message monitor bug CSCsi80906
Date: 3/13/2008 12:22 PM
> Might anyone on the list provide additional info on
this bug which references a several second delay when
accessing Unity with Message Monitor enabled? I’m really
just looking to clarify whether the ES release to address it
completely eliminates delay or reduces delay. I’ve seen
conflicting reports on this and was hoping to get some
additional input.

or work around that eliminates the delay? We’ve applied the
ES, however, some users continue to experience a delay,
whereas the original users reporting the delay are no longer
experiencing it.
