hello
i have faced a lot of problem while attaching the ATA with diffrent
type of fax machines , problem with delayed tones , no tones , reception
failure ...
i have noticed that it works with panasonic faxes without any problem ,
but a lot of problem appears while connecting to canon ( i think it's
;super g3 ) , hp ,.....
any one know about the fax compatibility between ATA 186 and other
machines ? , is it fax relay problem? .
the ATA is only an analog to digital conversion , & it treats that fax
calls like g711 call without interpreting the fax tones only
;packetization is done , if we configure a dial peer pointing to the ATA connected
to fax machines , can this solve the problem of the fax relay problem
between different kind of faxes by configuring the dial-peer with fax
relay parameters ,
