You can use a verion of IOS on the RSM or RSFC blades.
I have three of these in my home lab. Think Intervlan
Routing.

Like the WS-X4232 used in the CAT 4XXX Series, I
currently have two of these in my home labs as well.

So it really depends...

They are cheaper nowadays.

Lots cheaper.

But the IOS seems to be the way of the future... as
Larry said.

I find that they have some nuances that are
"interesting"... so I have kept them.

As far as for the BCMSN - Hmmm... Check the outline
and verify which meets your needs.

Do you just want to pass an exam or do you intend to
master the concept and be able to provide a solution
no matter the IOS?
