CCIE Written - R&S

The summary or scoring report for the beta exam is sent out
8-12 weeks
after the end of the beta period, around that same time the
results will
appear in the Certification Tracking system on CCO. 

There are definite advantages to taking the released version
of the exam
and seeing your success, or assessment, immediately upon
completion of
the exam.

Do they provide pass/fail status at the end of the Beta,
they are some
contradictory statements on the page? I scheduled mine for
tomorrow, I
wish I would've known about the beta sooner.

Yes, the ver2 test is on its way out.  Wireless is being
pulled and MPLS
added and IPv6 seems to have a larger role in the exam.  The
dates you
read
are for the beta exam, which only costs $50 versus $300
(better hurry!).
I
took it yesterday for grins and thought it was much easier
than the old
ver1
I originally took years ago, which had TR, ATM, AppleTalk,
IPX, etc.
