Few applications have a requirement for full rate GigE. Few
servers, let
alone workstations are capable of sustaining 1Gbps in any
direction, let
alone 1Gbps symmetrical. I see no problem with a blocking
card. If I have
a requirement for a non blocking card I can buy one.
