the only worse offenders are Extereme, and Avici (are those
companies even
around anymore ?)
The only product that comes to mind quickly as far superior
to Cisco is
the Netscaler (which unfortunately was bought by citrix).
the CSS/CSM is a
dog with fleas on its best day. If netscaler could get
faster than 1gb
interfaces at a comparable price point, the csm wouldn't
have any more
benefit other than sitting the chassis.
