in my quick dynamips lab, I got non-directly connected
routers to come up as
neighbors using EIGRP.  so please disregard what I said
earlier about that.

however in your setup, R3 will learn info from R2 regarding
R5, but R3 will
not pass that info to R1 because they are iBGP neighbors,
unless you
configure something like reflectors.
