Here's what you do.

Study your butt off based on the current Blueprint.

If you feel ready to take the lab before the new blueprint
goes into effect,

then go take the lab.

If you're not ready to take the lab before the new blueprint
goes into
effect, don't worry.  Virtually, all the stuff you've
already learned will
help you.

So, even though there won't be a PIX or VPN 3000 in the next
version of the
lab that knowledge will still be useful.

And, keep this in mind.  When the new lab does go into
effect, there will be
very, very little few points based on brand new material. 
Cisco tends to
add the new material slowly. So, if you could have passed
the old lab, if
you take the new lab when it first comes out and don't know
any of the new
material, the chances are you'll still pass because the
amount of points
you'll lose on the new material will be small.

I was planning on starting my security lab preparations
right about now.

If the security lab changes in the upcoming months, does
this mean I have to

delay my pursuit of this specialty ?

How long do I need to delay ?

Are all vendors' security workbooks now out of date ?

Which vendor is going to have their workbook updated first
?
